Hi Team,

Based on your feedback, we’ve continued to make improvements to Domain Samurai.

If you haven’t upgraded your copy of Domain Samurai to version 0.1.39 yet, here’s what you’re missing out on:

More Reliability finding New Domains

To be blunt, the biggest issue inside Domain Samurai to date has been reliability.

We’ve battled bug-after-bug around checking for new domains – some things helped, but we struggled to find something that would consistently and reliably work long term.

Finally, it looks like we’ve found the solution.

After switching to a new (different) “cloud computing server”, we’ve noticed an improvement in reliability around Domain Samurai’s new domain search tools – and we hope you see the improvements too!

But – as always – if you notice any problems, make sure you let us know about them via Domain Samurai Support.

Search Australian Domain Names

It looks like Domain Samurai has a strong user base in Australia!

One of the most requested new features for Domain Samurai was .com.au support.

For all of our fellow Aussies doing local SEO downunder, Domain Samurai now helps you search for keyword optimized .com.au domains.

This increase the total number of TLDs/ccTLDs supported inside Domain Samurai to 20:

  • .com
  • .org
  • .net
  • .tv
  • .info
  • .me
  • .biz
  • .us
  • .mobi
  • .ws
  • .ca
  • .de
  • .eu
  • .co.uk
  • .org.uk
  • .me.uk
  • .nu
  • .cc
  • .in
  • .com.au

To begin searching for .com.au domains – or any other type of domain listed above – make sure you edit your “Domain TLDs” list to include the options you wish to search before you hit “Find Domains”.

A Handy Domain Counter

This is a simple little stat that makes Domain Samurai a little friendlier to use.

Whenever you’re searching for domains inside Domain Samurai, you’ll receive a count of the number of domains that Domain Samurai has found for you.

Export Domains from Domain Samurai

We’ve also added an “Export Domains” button so that you can select domains that you’re interested in, store them, or even register them through your registrar of choice.

(This is especially handy if you don’t use HostGator, eNom [via the HostGator single domains option], NameCheap or GoDaddy – the 4 providers Domain Samurai helps you to register through.)

Plus a bunch of minor Bug Fixes…

We’ve also made some minor bug fixes here-and-there…

For example – removing characters from keywords (apostrophes, ampersands, etc) that are invalid for domain names.

Many of these minor bugs would have flown under the radar if it wasn’t for Domain Samurai users (like you) reporting them to us.

So again, if you see something that doesn’t look right, or if you want to make a suggestion, speak up – because we listen.

How To Upgrade…

To see these changes, make sure you update your copy of Domain Samurai to version 0.1.39.

There’s no cost to update your copy – Domain Samurai is free to use, and so are these upgrades.

To update, simply open your copy of Domain Samurai, and you will be asked if you want to install the latest version.

Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Domain Samurai from your unique download page.

If you have any troubles, let us know.

Want to Show Your Support for Domain Samurai?

Because Domain Samurai is free software, there is no option to purchase to support its continued development.

So if you want to show your support for the free Domain Samurai software, or just say “thanks”, the best compliment you can pay us is to take a moment to send a link to www.DomainSamurai.com with someone you know who might benefit from using the software.

As you know already – having a keyword optimized domain name from the beginning helps magnify your rankings in the search engines – and the more people using and benefiting from Domain Samurai this way, the better.
